What we’re about
## What we're about
The Denver Formula 1 Club was created in March of 2012 by Schuyler Ocheltree because F1 fans were so hard to come by in this country. The group had a slow start due to unfavorable race times and a lack of a good venue to get together and watch the races.
The current organizer, Daniel, took over the group in September of 2012, with Aymii joining him as co-organizer a few years later.
At the start of the 2013 season, the group found The Three Lions Pub along with Jon and Ian Forget through the help of Walter Penny. Our timely union finally gave the group a real venue, opening as early as 5:30 AM to serve us great drinks and food in a truly perfect setting. Unfortunately, all good things seem to come to an end, and in January 2019 the Three Lions poured its last pint and shut the doors for good.
Thankfully, we found a new venue at the Will Call in RiNo. Will Call was a great fit and the Club continued to grow. Most of our watch parties were at RiNo but we ended up with a great backup venue at The Celtic downtown.
As the 2020 season geared up it was almost as quickly shut down by the global pandemic. The race organizers were able to pick up the pieces and get back to racing in July and we ended up with a "full season". There were no watch parties in 2020 due to restaurant restrictions.
We were able to start up our watch parties again in March of 2021 and have been at The Celtic on Market ever since.
No matter the driver you like or the team you love, come down to The Celtic on appropriate Sundays no matter the hour. There will always be a group of die-hard F1 fans to watch the lights go out, Cheers!

See all- Singapore (Marina Bay)... Celtic will be open!!!The Celtic on Market, Denver, CO
## Details
It's EARLY, but we'll be there - I promise!!! Join us at The Celtic on Market this Sunday, lights out at 06.00am. There will be food and (adult and regular) beverages available starting at 7.00am.
Because of the group size and staffing needs, we request that everyone meet the "two drink minimum." That being said, ordering food counts, so even if you're not a drinker, it shouldn't be hard to find something. Basically, just get anything besides tap water, and the Celtic will continue to welcome us with open arms.
New and long-time fans of every driver/team are welcome. If it's your first time and/or you'll be alone, message me and I'll set aside a spot for you in the Organizers' VIP Paddock so you can make some new friends (space permitting).
Special note: We have a Discord server now, so if you want to join us to watch practices, sprints, or quali remotely (we'll still be at the Celtic for race events), check it out: https://discord.com/invite/wvBfaqhjpS
More about Singapore:
The original Singapore Grand Prix was held at Thomson Road from 1966 to 1973, before returning to the calendar in 2008 at Marina Bay. Fernando Alonso won the inaugural Formula One edition of the renewed Grand Prix, driving for the Renault team amid controversial circumstances, when it emerged a year later that his teammate Nelson Piquet Jr. had been ordered to crash on purpose by senior team management to bring out the safety car at a time chosen to benefit Alonso. The race itself was also notable for being the 800th Formula One World Championship race since its inception in 1950, and the first ever Formula One race held at night.
Since its inception, Marina Bay has been known for featuring at least one safety car in every race edition, with a total of 24 safety car deployments as of 2023. The Singapore Grand Prix has been considered to be one of the most challenging and unique tracks on the Formula One calendar. Sebastian Vettel has the most wins on the track, with five Singapore Grand Prix victories. In 2022, a contract extension was announced which will put the race on the Formula One calendar until at least 2028.
