Hi friends. DSM Web Geeks typically posts news about our upcoming events on our own blog at www.dsmwebgeeks.com. However, we've heard a lot of our members were on Meetup.com so we thought we'ed give it a shot.
DSM Web Geeks is a community for web developers, hobbyists, and enthusiasts interested in learning new skills in web trends and technologies.
Our events are held on the second Monday of every month, and (sometimes) one Wednesday a month. The format varies between lecture style, round table discussion, and "hackathon". Our lunch events are hosted by our generous partners like Happy Medium, Blue Compass, and Source Allies.
You can become a Web Geek if you're interested in anything related to web development. Common topics we focus on are JavaScript frameworks, project management, mobile development, web design, etc. If we aren't talking about a topic you enjoy let us know and we'll incorporate it into our next event.

Get ready for our annual Show & Share event on December 9th from 6:30-8:30pm! This is a fantastic opportunity for you to share things you’ve been working on with your community, meet like-minded people, and be inspired by a wide range of projects. Whether it's a web development project, a DIY endeavor, or a hobby you’re passionate about, we welcome it all. No project is too big, too small, or too different!
We will also have a screenprinting station set up. If you're interested in learning about screenprinting this is your chance to make your own Web Geeks t-shirt or poster, get hands-on with the process, and take home a free print. Optional ($5 MAX) White Elephant gift exchange too!
Come connect, create, and celebrate with us! All levels and backgrounds are welcome—whether you're a seasoned creator or just starting out, there’s something here for everyone. Don’t miss this chance to share, learn, and make something unique together.
