DevOps & Platform Engineering MeetUp November 2024

Hey Everyone!

The next DevOps & Platform Engineering MeetUp has been scheduled! It will be taking place on Wednesday November 27th and you are all invited to join us!

For anyone who hasn't been to one of our DevOps & Platform Engineering MeetUps, it will be an informative evening, featuring talks by expert speakers on the latest trends in cloud computing and virtualization, along with best practices in DevOps and Platform Engineering.

It is a great opportunity to meet new professionals in your field, collaborate and share wisdom and hopefully learn something new!

When: Wednesday November 27th from 6:00pm - 9:30pm

Agenda for the evening...

There will be two guest speakers on the night, each giving their own talk on their DevOps & Platform Engineering related topic.
Each speaker will have about 20 - 30 minutes and will have a Q&A at the end. Once the talks are finished, we can move out to the Lookout terrace which has 360 views of Dublin’s city skyline, where we will have some food and drinks and plenty of time for networking with everyone and taking in the views.

Speaker 1: Nehrini Nambisan
Nehrini is a seasoned DevOps professional and Women in STEM advocate, with over 12 years of experience in the field.
Currently a Senior DevOps and SRE Manager at eShopWorld, Nehrini has a proven track record of transforming IT processes and driving operational excellence through innovative cloud solutions and automation strategies, having previously contributed her expertise at Verizon, H&R Block global and other leading organisations.

Nehrini's Topic: Enabling high performing platform teams in the age of AI.

Speaker 2: Rob Lazzurs
Rob Lazzurs is the Founder of UnicornOps, with over 20 years of experience in IT, including more than a decade dedicated to DevOps and cloud technologies. As a former CTO at Amach, he has spearheaded transformative projects that leverage advanced cloud solutions, solidifying his reputation as a thought leader and key influencer in the industry.

Rob's Topic: DevOps, GitOps and AI - How to manage new AI tools in the same responsible way as other cloud platforms.
