Chess Valley Walk (18km)

Join Dew Adventures for a serene 18km walk along the River Chess, starting in Rickmansworth and following the river to Chesham, the gateway to the Chilterns. The route passes through diverse landscapes, including woodlands, open meadows and farmland. With peaceful views, historic landmarks, and a chance to spot local wildlife along the way, this walk is the perfect opportunity for a leisurely stroll through the English countryside on the first day of the last month of the year!
Information:
Start: Rickmansworth Station (Metropolitan line), 10am
Finish: Chesham Station (Metropolitan line), 3:30pm
To Bring:
- Please bring sturdy walking shoes and clothing suitable for the weather. Be prepared for it to be quite muddy and boggy in places.
- There are minimal facilities along the way so please come prepared with your own food, refreshments/snacks and water for the day.
There is a £5 fee (cash) for attending the event to be paid at the start of the walk.
