Our hostess this month is Anne-Marie Beaudoing.
There's no real agenda, though we did have a request for Christmas music. We'll just take turns entertaining each other on the piano and then spend some time getting to know one another.
This meetup is limited to 15 pianists so that everyone will have time to play. (If you are not going to play, you don't have to RSVP.)
Sometimes people have to wait until there's a spot available to RSVP. Please remember to "un-RSVP" if you can't make it, so others will have a chance to reserve their spot.
As always, all levels and styles of play are encouraged. We've had beginners and professionals, and everything from rock to ragtime and from baroque to jazz. Play whatever moves you, or just sit back and listen. As always, you are welcome to bring and play some other instrument, as long as it is portable enough to bring along.
Last time, we had a great meetup at DFW Piano Gallery! Here's what we played:
- Anne-Marie: La Fileuse (The Spinner) by Joachi Raff
- Chris: Autumn Leaves by Linda Namith, Atacama Desert by Wynne-Anne Rossi
- Brad: Ballade #4 by F Chopin. Brad will play this for a Chopin Competition on Oct 26, and he's gonna knock 'em dead. We're all rooting for you, Brad!

- Caitlin: Serenade Fantastique for Piano - Noctis by Yoko Shimomura
