October meetup at DFW PIANO GALLERY

This month we are meeting at the DFW Piano Gallery's new concert hall. Many thanks to Todd for finding this venue and negotiating the deal! DFW Piano Gallery is a piano store in Dallas, and they are allowing us to meet in their brand new piano recital hall for FREE (the first time), so be sure and browse their inventory of new and used pianos while you are there. I know they have been in business at that location for quite a while because I bought my digital piano there 10 years ago.

There is no agenda, except that we socialize for a bit, then take turns playing until we've had enough of that, and socialize some more. Since this is a larger venue than the private homes we have been using, I'm capping the number of guests at 25 pianists. If you or your guests are not going to play, please don't use up one of the 25 RSVPs: just come.

We did not discuss refreshments. Since this is a concert hall, my assumption is that no food or drinks are allowed. Watch this space for updates on such policies!

I have come into the possession of a large box of old sheet music. I will bring it along so that all present may browse through it and take whatever piques their interest.
