Holiday Meetup at DFW PIANO GALLERY

Details

This month we are meeting at the DFW Piano Gallery. Unfortunately, our regular meeting day was not available, so for the first time we will be meeting on a Saturday. The theme this month is holiday music, but Ludwig van Beethoven's birthday is the following Monday, so I think Beethoven counts as holiday music!

Also for the first time, we will be collecting $5 per person or $10 per family to help DFW Piano Gallery keep the lights and heat on. I'm sure that doesn't pay their costs, so be sure and browse their inventory of new and used pianos while you are there.

There is no agenda, except that we socialize for a bit, then take turns playing until we've had enough of that, and socialize some more. Since this is a larger venue than the private homes we have been using, I'm capping the number of guests at 30 pianists. If you or your guests are not going to play, please don't use up one of the 30 RSVPs: just come.

If you want to bring refreshments to share, then please do so! They have a kitchen in the back of the new recital hall.

ALSO!
I have come into the possession of a large box of old sheet music. I will bring it along so that all present may browse through it and take whatever piques their interest.
