Welcome to our group!! Our purpose is to offer something for everyone! We do all types of activities ... outdoors mainly camping, climbing, running, kayaking, backpacking and hiking including local dayhikes. We also have various running and water events, biking as well as a few other events that members have posted along the way. Members within this group are more than welcome to suggest other events for the group as well. Everyone has a voice!
Note: All activities, hiking, kayaking, backpacking (at discretion of organizer hosting particular trip) are open to all ages. Children 15+ for some camping trips unless otherwise noted.
Again, upon joining, please submit a 'real' photo of yourself.
Occasionally, local events or get together's for meet and greet opportunities. Our location of the events will vary. While our "Home" location is in Dallas/Fort Worth area, we will be doing camping trips outside the area, generally within a four hour drive or less, from the local area. Occasionally, we will travel further out, for possible camping/trips, to neighboring states, such as Arkansas, Oklahoma, New Mexico and Colorado.
With most scheduled camp outs, we will try and find places that have something for every activity level, from hiking, kayaking, climbing, biking, to fishing. Most places we chose for camping will involve a lake. If you are new to these types of activities, give it a try, we are here to walk you through things if you need us to.
The purpose of this group is to enjoy the outdoors, meet new friends, and to get together in a relaxed and friendly environment. To create a relationship between people who enjoy the outdoors and the .. great outdoors. This group is here to create bonds with each other as well as creating a greater appreciation for nature. Supporting out state parks is a important as well.

You only get out of this group what you put into it. We believe that sometimes, people have to push ourselves to really find out our potential. We believe quitting is not an option. We believe in teamwork .. this is a group opportunity, no an individual opportunity.
