Downtown Fort Worth + Water Gardens: Art, Architecture and History Guided Walking Tour (FREE) with Optional Dinner After
Saturday, January 11 - 2:30 pm. All are welcome.
Meeting Point: Starbucks (next to Sundance Square): 141 West 3rd Steet - Fort Worth.

Michele and Robert invite you to join us for a FREE guided walking tour of downtown Fort Worth focusing on the city’s art, architecture and history.

Event Details ...

Cost: FREE for the guided walking tour - optional dinner afterward at your own expense.

Weather: The event will take place light rain or shine. If it’s on our calendar then we’re proceeding as planned.

Parking: Several options throughout the area. Please arrive in the area several minutes early so that you have time to find parking and walk to our meeting point.

Before the Event: Optional lunch, socializing and restrooms from 2:30 to 2:45 pm at Starbucks.

Meeting Point: 2:30 pm at Starbucks (next to Sundance Square): 141 West 3rd Steet - Fort Worth. Look for your hosts Robert (wearing a fedora-style hat) and Michele (also wearing a hat) along with a group of friendly people. We’ll depart on our walk at approximately 2:45 pm.

Icebreaker Introductions: We should have a good-sized group and so instead of everyone introducing themselves to the group we will get to know each other by distributing blank stickers and colored markers and we’ll ask everyone to write down on their sticker: 1). first name. 2). favorite food. 3). dream vacation. Example: “Michele - Strawberries - Kenya” or “Robert - Chocolate - Tokyo”.

Knights of Pythias Building (1901) - 315 Main Street
Sundance Square - 420 Main Street
Chisolm Trail Mural - 420 Main Street
Bass Performance Hall - 525 Commerce Street
JFK Tribute in Fort Worth - 916 Main Street
Flat Iron Building (1907) - 1000 Houston Street
Butch Cassidy, The Sundance Kid & Wild Bunch Sculpture - 1000 Houston Street
Fort Worth Convention Center - 1201 Houston Street
Fort Worth Water Gardens (Philip Johnson) - 1502 Commerce Street

Walking Distance: Approximately 1.5 - 2.0 miles at a moderate pace over approximately 90 minutes with several stops along the way.

Ending Point: Starbucks: 141 West 3rd Steet - Fort Worth.

After the Event: Optional group dinner after (perhaps Riscky's BAR-B-Q - 300 Main Street).
