Building friendships as an adult shouldn't feel impossible. That’s why Alexi and I started DFW Young & Social, a community designed to make connecting with others easier and more meaningful. Running with the heart of a nonprofit; It’s free to become a member, and we offer a wide range of free and affordable events, so everyone can find something that fits their interests and lifestyle.
Our long-time members help lead many of the classes, from fitness classes to crafting workshops, adding their personal touch and passion. Whether it’s a casual meetup, a hands-on class, or a free social event, we are dedicated to creating space for real friendships to grow.

Got a project you’re working on? Bring it to our Open Crafting Day and let’s get creative together! Whether you’re crocheting, painting, stitching, wood whittling, sketching, or even tackling something techy like a Raspberry Pi build, this is your space to create and connect.

Not working on anything? No worries! You’re welcome to hang out or try one of our fun, affordable crafting activities (priced based on material costs). It’s all about connecting while doing something you love—or discovering something new.

Looking for a fun way to spend your Monday evening? Join us for beginner-friendly dance classes that will get you moving and connecting with others!
- 7:00 PM – Waltz: Step into the elegance of the Waltz! Perfect for beginners, you’ll glide across the dance floor in no time as you learn the basics of this graceful ballroom dance.
- 8:00 PM – West Coast Swing: Discover the smooth and versatile West Coast Swing! Our beginner class will teach you the fundamentals and have you dancing with style, whether you’re new to swing or brushing up on your moves.
Both classes are designed to help you build confidence, have fun, and meet new people in a relaxed, social environment.

Fast-paced, flirty, fun, and danceable to hundreds of today's top Latin pop hits, Salsa is a fantastic dance to have in your pocket! You don’t have to bring a partner! We rotate throughout the classes, so everyone gets plenty of opportunities to dance and meet new people.

Looking for a fun, social way to stay active? Our Social Team Fitness Classes are free or donation-based. It offers team challenges, partner exercises, and collaborative activities. With proper warm-ups and restorative cool-downs, you’ll leave feeling accomplished and refreshed. It’s the perfect way to meet new people, get fit, and have a great time!
