What we’re about
Diamond Way Buddhist Center Las Vegas, founded in 2002, is part of an international network of over 700 meditation centers in the Karma Kagyu tradition of Tibetan Buddhism. The centers were founded due to the inspiration of Lama Ole Nydahl according to the wishes of H.H. 16th Karmapa. They are now under the spiritual guidance of H.H. 17th Gyalwa Karmapa, Trinlay Thaye Dorje.
Our center consists of lay people, working full-time jobs, incorporating Diamond Way (Vajrayana) teachings and meditations into their daily lives. Members share responsibilities for guiding meditations, answering questions, and giving explanations.
Newcomers are always welcome! We have public meditation every Tuesday at 7:00pm and an Open House Introduction to Buddhism the first Tuesday of every month at 7:00pm. Each week we offer a short talk on Buddhism and guided meditation.
Our group meets at a private residence. Please call or email for the address and direction at [email protected] or call 702.625.3922.
