Our mission is to bring joy and contentment to individuals living in assisted care facilities.
We are a not-for-profit organization founded by a group of singing enthusiasts who share a passion for music. Our goal is to offer free concerts for local nursing home communities. We are looking for members of all age groups to sing a combination of solos, duets and small group combos at each performance through the use of professional karaoke tracks provided by Digital Jam Entertainment. We are not looking for Diva's or professional grade singers; we are seeking individuals who can carry a tune and can blend voices in a small group setting. Harmonizing abilities are a plus but not required. Ability to interact positively with an elderly crowd is a must. All members must be available for midday weekday performances and rehearsals.
Additional Information:
- All members must attend a minimum of two rehearsals prior to participating in a show.
- Members will be asked to pay a yearly membership fee of $10, to help offset administrative costs, after attending their first three Meetup events.
