What we’re about
This group is all about meeting people who are interested in digital technology and the online world. Whether you're a developer, designer, student, entrepreneur, teacher, hobbyist or self confessed tech addict, this group is for you.
We're a friendly bunch, open to all ages and technical abilities. We aim to build the tech community here in Lincoln, sharing ideas and knowledge through a schedule of informal events and socials.
We have around 900 members and have host events once a month on a Tuesday evening (usually the last Tuesday of the month). We're trying to alternate between both technical and non-technical topics so we can make sure there is something for everybody. Due to COVID-19, we are streaming events online via Zoom.
Digital Lincoln would like to thank the Lincoln Science and Innovation Park and Business Lincolnshire for their support in helping us put on events.

Lloyd Passingham is a Senior DevSecOps Engineer at Arbor Education, driven by a passion for security culture. He believes that security should be as much about human behavior as it is about technical measures. Drawing on his military background to inform his understanding of security threats, Lloyd is fascinated by how individuals think and what motivates cybercrime, along with the common mistakes that can lead to incidents. Committed to making cybersecurity more approachable and engaging, he helps others navigate its complexities with confidence, empowering them to take control of their digital security.
