On Friday, November 25, 1994, the day after Thanksgiving, "The Wonderful World of **Disney On Ice**" special was hosted by Michael Eisner. The show featured world-renowned figure skaters, including Olympic champions, performing to classic Disney music. The cast included Ekaterina Gordeeva as Cinderella, Sergei Grinkov as Prince Charming, Nancy Kerrigan, and Marina Klimova as the Stepsisters, and Katarina Witt as the Stepmother. Other notable performers included Scott Hamilton, Sergei Ponomarenko, Maia Usova, Alexander Zhulin, Michelle Kwan, Paul Wylie, and Yuko Sato.

The show was filmed at Paramount Studios in Los Angeles, where a temporary ice rink was constructed specifically for the production. The set design incorporated a replica of the Team Disney Building and the iconic fan-shaped gate at Disney Studios. Steve Binder directed the production.
