Here are some things you can expect,

Meeting begins on time.
If you have arrived early, members approach and welcome you and help you settle down.
Meeting have an agenda, comprising of “Prepared Speeches”, “Table Topics- Impromptu Speeches” and “Evaluations and Feedback”
Host or ‘Toastmaster of the day’ will talk about a theme
VP-Membership approaches you at the end of the meeting, and answer any questions you might have.

Here are some things you could do,

Arrive on time.

Introduce yourself when you get a chance. Your name, organisation and motivations to come to toastmasters.
As a part of audience, give your undivided attention to what is happening on stage.
Ask questions when in doubt; senior members love answering questions.
Volunteer to participate in the table topics section. I highly recommend this adventure.
Provide feedback when asked. What did you like, and what could improve.
And importantly, have Fun. Laugh, smile and emote with the speaker on stage.
You can also get involved right away. Often, there are last minute details needing attention. You can volunteer to help.
