Is Shift Left Dead? The evolution of secure development tool
The shift-left era introduced a slew of new security tools early in the development cycle, from code scanning to dependency tracking. While this enabled vulnerabilities to be discovered and fixed sooner, poor developer experience also made it more difficult to deliver fast and increased the workload of developers. This talk will discuss recent evolutions in the secure development space such as reachability analysis, agentless scanning, and compliant-by-default system components.
