Join us for a special 60 min Community Yoga Class. This class is suitable for all levels.

Class Description:

A well tested and proven system of physical exercises and basic Hatha yoga postures to increase the strength and flexibility of your spine.

This one hour session of 60 backbends and basic spinal postures will give you tremendous strength and flexibility in your spine and is good for all levels of yoga practitioners.

Highlights:

•Simple yet effective postures that will help improve strength and flexibility

•Suryanamaskars (with alignment and breathing) for a full body workout

•Reduce tension in shoulders and chest

•Deepen your yoga practice

•Increasing mobility and awareness of the spine

•Enhance general sense of well-being

The 1st half of the session warm up the whole body, especially all the joints, which involves practicing a combination of physical exercises, Sun salutations and some yoga postures.

The 2nd half of the class focuses only on the spine and begins with very simple back bends on the floor followed by a few back bend yoga postures. With every passing set of backbends and yoga postures, the spine gets more warmed up to enter a deeper level of flexibility.

Streamed LIVE via Zoom, you will be taken through a carefully thought-out routine to safely open the chest and extend into the spine, enhancing your back bend practice.

🌟 Yoga & PCOS

According to a recent study, practicing yoga may help decrease testosterone levels and alleviate symptoms of anxiety and depression in women with PCOS.

More specifically, participants who did a one-hour yoga class three times a week for three months reduced testosterone levels by 29%.
