Austin D&D and Tabletop RPG Meetup

1. This is a long-term RPG for those who can't RP regularly.
2. It has no set time (ignore what is listed). Join and participate on YOUR schedule.
3. Anyone may join, create a concept for a character, develop them, add to the details of a huge station in a Spelljamming world where the Federation has been reborn 30,000 years in the future.
4. Be a shopkeeper, be a security guard, be a warrior visiting the shops, a wizard looking for that rare component, an alien scounting security for a take over, a diplomat trying to establish their planet as a new Federation member, almost anything.
5. Create a new character (easy) or detail them (tons of charts, options).
6. oin for a few minutes, a day, for years, as your schedule permits. We can't all be regular weekly adventurers. Some of us have other things to do.
7. Most interactions will be with the DM/GM in text, a channel privete to you, but other channels will be open to you for areas of the station to interact with others.
8. Come join a multi-mega RPG with forty years of history in RL.
9. Online for the first time.
10. Join for an hour, post your actions, questions, goals, DM/GM will respond or other members will, allowing you to build the station, create events, etc. Think of it like an old-style play by mail game with perks for those who can't make a regular game.

This campaign starts in Forgotten Realms and will branch into Spelljammer after a few levels.

Goal is to end around 10, though some nights may go longer, but the location closes at 11.

If you are joining new, below are the character creation guidelines. I will be at the venue early to help or answer questions, but you will need a character to play.

Current campaign is level: 1
Restricted Races: None (any official published race is fine)
Restricted Classes: None (any official published class/subclass is fine)
Have a background no more than 1 page. Name 1-2 NPCs important to your character and a reason for adventuring.
Personality/Alignment: All characters need to have a reason to work with a group, and want to adventure.
