Welcome writers! This in-person meetup is for writers of any stripe. Whether it is fiction or nonfiction, whether you're working on a short story, screenplay, novel, memoir, poetry collection or something else, you are welcome.
Join us at Inkling's coffee (530 Main St. in downtown Pleasanton). Let's stop procrastinating. Let's stop the daydreaming. Let's stop with the excuses. Instead let's get some work done!
The concept is simple: each meeting will consist of an hour of uninterrupted writing. A short introduction will kick-off the session. After introductions, I'll set a timer to begin quiet, productive writing. At the end, feel free to stick around and exchange writing tips. I am hoping to create a low-key and supportive group.
