Blues Lesson - Stormy Monday

Welcome to the Doctor Strings Blues Lab night. All experience levels and instruments welcome! The format is simple, an instructor led workshop where we focus on one or two Blues standards every night with a paid pro blues band.

Group Blues lessons from a professional Instructor and Blues Band.

Each week we'll focus on different topics such as solo motifs, jam etiquette, ensemble playing, all through the lens of different songs. Overtime, the goal is for you to improve your skills and repertoire.

Tonight's Lab
We'll use the song "Stormy Monday" to play riff based Blues songs with two guitars. You'll play some solo guitar, some changes, and some tight rhythm chords. We can also coach you on bass and some basic drums. Singers, harmonica players and other instruments also welcome!
