Distance: ~6.8 miles

Time: 4.5 hours depending on pace

Elevation: 720 ft

We'll start from fhe Reeves Meadow Visitor Center and head out on the Pine Meadow trail. We will cross the Pine Meadow Brook and continue on the Kakiat trail and the Pine Meadow trail again. We will pass Ga-Nus-Quah Rock, the stone giants, some CCC ruins and continue around Pine Meadow Lake. We will follow some woods roads back around Pine Meadow Lake and pass by Conklin Cemetary, the grave of a family that farmed the area before the CCC flooded the area to create the lake. We will head back on the Pine Meadow Trail to the cars.

Guideline:

Less than 200 ft: Easy

200 to 600 ft: Easy/Moderate

600 to 1000 ft: Moderate

1,000 to 1,400 ft: Moderate/Strenuous

1,400 to 2,000 ft: Strenuous

Over 2,000 ft: Very Strenuous

1,050 ft is one climb up to top observation deck of the Empire State Building. Other factors such as rock scrambles, steep inclines, and rocky terrain increase difficulty.
