Recreational Stress Relief Drum Circle for Veterans and Friends

VETERANS HELPING VETERANS

This is a HealthRHYTHMS Style Drum Circle that provides an opportunity for Veterans of all ages to join in a group music making activity using hand drums and other percussion instruments. Through recreational drumming, each of the participants will reap the benefits of increased relaxation, a reduction of stress, and a balancing of all the important body chemicals that regulate the immune and cardiovascular system. It will also give you a chance to hear the great stories and share in the experiences the we all have had during our time in the military. We are also joined by members of the drum circle community who have never served but are interested in knowing veterans and finding out about our experiences while serving our country.

No drumming or musical experience is required.

We have instruments on hand for those who need them. You are always welcome to bring your own if you have them.

There is no fee for this event. Donations are gratefully accepted.
