What we’re about
There was no response the past events in the previous group named as "Self Awareness Group". I am repurposing the same group to focus on the elephant in the family room "Domestic abuse" commonly known as Domestic Violence (DV).
- According to the national website 'The Hotline' "Nearly 3 in 10 women (29%) and 1 in 10 men (10%) in the US have experienced rape, physical violence, and/or stalking by a partner and reported it having a related impact on their functioning."
- This group is for individuals, families and friends directly or indirectly affected by 'Domestic abuse' and those who would like to understand the problem. We will try to understand and support the members. DV is an individual-family-community-social problem that has been going on for generations. DV is devastating women, men and children.

We welcome everyone to share their concerns in the area of Domestic abuse (aka Domestic Violence/DV). This group is a replacement for the "Self Awareness Group" the events of which did not elicit response from the members.

Unfortunately, the majority of people don't have a basic idea about DV and the free resources available to victims and survivors. COLLECTIVELY WE CAN MAKE A DENT IN THE IMPACT OF DV ON - WOMEN, CHILDREN, AND MEN.
