The Seven Deadly Sins: a light-hearted and illustrated review

We have all heard of the Seven Deadly Sins. They are often regarded as a colourful, and rather old-fashioned aspect of Christianity, and not generally discussed nowadays. Not many people have heard of the Seven Heavenly Virtues, but at one time they were also a hot topic in Christian thought. At this Yuletide event, Simon Whipple, one of our committee members, will offer a light-hearted and illustrated review of these concepts, and will suggest that they are just as worth considering as guides to life now, in our post-Christian world, as they have ever been.
