This is an adventure for active and fairly fit people. There will be 7 hike/walks on this trip from .9 miles to 6 miles and sometimes at high altitudes.
Walks & hikes on this tour

* *Sew Dranga to Punakha – 4.5 miles / 2.5 hours.* A moderate hike starting at 5,709 feet that runs along a dirt trail descending with some uneven terrain to 4,003 feet into Punakha Valley.
* *Punakha Valley – .9 miles / 1.5 hours.* A short, uphill hike starting at 4,101 feet and ascending up an unpaved trail with many stairs, as well as a suspension bridge crossing to 4,757 feet. Once at the top, you’ll then descend back down to 4,101 feet.
* *Pelela to Rukubji – 6 miles / 3.5 hours.* A difficult, but downhill hike starting at 11,162 feet heading downhill along dirt paths with steps and stairs through meadows to 8,973 feet.
* *Yotongla to Geytsa – 5.8 miles / 3.5 hours.* A moderate hike starting at 11,237 feet and descending along a dirt trail through a forest and wide open valley to 9,485 feet.
* \*Three Temples – 1.5 miles / 2 hours. Mebar Tsho Hike – 2.8 miles / 2 hours.\*An easy, mostly flat walk starting at 9,186 feet through the valley ending at 8,901 feet.
* *Paro to Dopshari – 3 miles / 2.5 hours.* A dirt path that gently rises to 7,874 feet through sprawling rice paddies and descends to 7,546 feet.
* *Tiger’s Nest – 4 miles / 5 hours.* A long and difficult climb starting at 8,530 feet through a forest and reaching a high of 10,335 feet before returning back to 8,530 feet.

Note: Please be aware that you will be traveling at altitudes as high as 11,000 feet above sea level. (the same as Cusco Peru) These high altitudes can sometimes cause breathing difficulties for travelers who have heart problems or respiratory ailments.
