Looking for a casual D&D game that's as chill as a frost giant's living room? Look no further! We've got a drop-in campaign that's perfect for both seasoned dungeon crawlers and those just dipping their toes into the magical waters of role-playing.
What's the Deal?
Our campaign is set in the homebrew world of Eventyr, and it's a West Marches-style drop-in adventure. That means it's player-driven, flexibly scheduled, and perfect for those who want to explore at their own pace. No rigid schedules or predetermined plots here—just pure, unscripted fun!
Laid Back and LGBTQ Friendly 🏳️🌈
I am a member of the LGBTQ community myself, and so it's very important to me that we provide a welcoming space for other queer folks and allies. We mostly play at my house in East Denver, and we're all about creating a safe and welcoming space for everyone. We've got players from all walks of life and welcome all.
How to Join
- RSVP for a game: Check out the group schedule and pick a date that works for you. (Note: RSVPs are required to join a session so we can balance the number of players)
- Create a Character: Either pick a premade character or make your own. New to D&D? No worries, we can help you out!
- Reach out on Discord (username: aftermarketdadbod) if you want to talk through character creation or anything else.
- All the game details are available online at: https://www.marcgallivan.com/drop-in-campaign - that page should have everything you need to get started
- Play and have fun: That's it! Just show up to the session and enjoy the adventure.
NOTE: I do take RSVP's pretty seriously, so please don't sign up unless you're pretty sure you can make the session and if you can't make it, please let me know so I can offer that spot to someone else. We've got a big group and I want to make space available to folks whenever possible.
More Than Just a Game
Our campaign is all about flexibility, player agency, and community engagement. You're not just following a script; you're creating your own story. Plus, the world of Eventyr is alive and constantly changing, so every decision you make can shape the world for other players.
Communication
- Once you sign up for a game I'll add you to the email list for that session, which means that you'll get an email with the address where the game will take place (probably my house) and any other information you need to know.
- We plan all of our sessions on Discord, so join us there if you want to be part of choosing a quest or discussing party dynamics. It's not required, but it's nice to know who you're playing with and have a say in what your party does.
