Designing Content Authoring Experiences
Details
In this session, Greg Dunlap will explore the critical importance of prioritizing the authoring experience (AX) in content projects, elevating it to the same level of consideration as user experience (UX) and developer experience (DX). We will discuss the challenges and pain points that content authors face when working with content management systems, and examine the benefits of designing intuitive and user-friendly authoring experiences. Attendees will take away practical strategies and actionable steps for improving the AX in Drupal core and client projects, including how to design and implement effective workflows, simplify content creation and editing processes, and create a more seamless and enjoyable experience for authors. By the end of the session, attendees will have a deeper understanding of the importance of AX and the skills and knowledge needed to improve it in their own projects.
