I am once again this year helping to collect purses for the Fill a Purse for a Sister Campaign 2024. I will be in the parking lot by Goldie's Cafe & Eatery which is located in the plaza in the South West corner of Bayly and Harwood in Ajax for up for 1.5 hours. I drive an orange Kia Soul.

I encourage you to pop into Goldie's Cafe, crab a coffee (they have a wide variety of regular coffees and specialty coffees) and a snack (this is a fabulous little eatery by the way). I will be sitting in a booth near the window with my car parked right outside where you can drop off all your goodies.

Here is how it works:

DO
Give a purse that has been gently used and previously loved, or purchase a new purse. Including an encouraging note is always a thoughtful touch.

Fill the purse with personal necessities, such as:

* Bath soap
Body wash
* Deodorant
* Feminine hygiene products
* Flashlight
* Gift card
* Gloves
* Hair brush
* Hand sanitizer
* Hat
* Lip balm
* Notepad
* Pen
* Scarf
* Shampoo and conditioner
* Socks
* Tissues
* Toothbrush
* Toothpaste
* Whistle

DON’T

* Donate a purse that is worn, soiled or ripped.
* Donate items from the above list that are used — please provide unopened, packaged items.
* Do not donate hotel size products. Full sized products are preferred.
* Do not donate food of any kind.
* Do not donate expired products.
