Arrive at least 15 minutes early to be ready to leave on time.

We’ll meet at TBC.

Please be early to ensure safe parking &, as usual, parking is at your own risk.

Max Height: TBC
Length: Circa 10-14kms
Duration: Circa 4 hrs
Route: Over exposed bog, forest track & mountain trails. Poles and gaiters are recommended.

Route Description: TBC

Tea/Coffee afterwards at a local hostelery.

Suitable for: Ladies who know they are fit for the distance and ascent; and own waterproof gear (see details below).

Not all trails are on solid and even surfaces, therefore, it is each walker’s individual responsibility to look after their own safety and not the responsibility or liability of Running Amach or its organisers.

We refer you to the Running Amach Indemnity we all agreed to when we joined Running Amach which seems to have disappeared from this site.

• WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING:

· Food (packed lunch) and a hot drink (including some emergency rations e.g. chocolate!)
· Rucksack with waterproof cover (approx. 25-35L capacity required)
· Waterproof Hiking boots (plus Gaiters and poles if you have them)
· Waterproof Rain gear (jacket and leggings, ideally Goretex or other hightec fabric)
· Drinking Water
· A torch (In case someone gets injured and people have to stay behind)
· Spare fleece, hat, gloves and socks (kept in a plastic bag in your Rucksack so its always dry)

A change of clothes and footwear in your car (not to be brought on the walk itself).

We update the weather forecast nearer the date but please bear in mind the mountains have their own weather climate so please be prepared for insects, rain and sun!
