Dunedin Acoustic Guitar Meetup

YOU MUST RSVP (as well as your guests) as SPACE IS LIMITED to 10 people. Please cancel your RSVP if you are not able to attend so others that are “waitlisted” have the opportunity to attend.

The goal of this Meetup is to be a place where you can, play and sing with other guitarists and musicians, share songs you like, or wrote, and show us how to play, learn new songs and expand your repertoire, offer playing tips to others, gain confidence in your playing/singing. Music will range from Novice to intermediate in difficulty.

We will take turns leading songs, but we are a No-Pressure Meet-Up, and you can Play or Pass on your turn. No one expects perfection! Do your songs your way and no need to sound like any recording – just have fun with it! We do have a projector to put music up on a screen, however, if you prefer, I Invite you to bring enough printed lyrics (~10 copies) and chords to share with others and show your appreciation and encouragement for others' efforts and abilities. If you have a music stand, we recommend you bring it, if not no big deal. Typically a Capo will be required for some songs, so if you have one, bring it.

I do ask for a small donation of $3-$5 (cash) to the Church for the use of the room and to maintain the website. A donation jar will be available, but if you wish not to donate then please don't let that stop you from coming and having fun.
