Details

Your DM is old, and tired of newer editions' endless add-ons devised to sell books. I have been to D & D boot camp with some really dogmatic people and learned how your character can succeed financially by leveraging hirelings. Monks and rangers are still welcome, although they don't lead troops at low levels. Rangers and demihumans are especially welcome: their special talents contribute to your forces' survival in a range of situations.

This game is not politically correct: witches will not be a maligned ethnic group. It is OK to kill them on sight, along with goblins and orcs. This game's random nature means you can run into very dangerous monsters, and overwhelming numbers of enemy humanoids. There will be deaths. I'll provide a dungeon, which is the safest place for your character to explore up to level 5. The starting players will discuss alignment and decide what is acceptable for all succeeding characters. It is OK for characters to have secrets, but in my experience everybody isn't having fun when players keep secrets from one another. Bring your own story, but keep in mind that there are random tables for your height, weight and family background.
