What we’re about
This community gathers in the tradition of Thich Nhat Hanh, and our time together includes a seated meditation practice, walking meditation, a teaching (sometimes with a reading), and time for sharing about our experience with the practice of mindfulness in our life.
Every practice is an invitation and you do not have to share if you are not called to. And, at the end there is an opportunity to sing together.
No meditation experience is required.

Upcoming events (4+)
See all- Wednesday night meditation circle1809 Chapel Hill Rd, Durham, NC
Join is for a meditation circle in the Plum Village tradition of Buddhist teacher Thich Nhat Hanh. We will practice a short seated meditation (10 minutes), walking meditation (10 minutes), dharma share on a topic of mindfulness by a fellow practitioner, group dharma sharing, and singing. We actively welcome and affirm BIPOC and queer people and seek to hold an inclusive space for all.
The space has accessible parking, entrances, and gender neutral bathrooms. Chairs are available, and we encourage you to bring a cushion with you if you have one.
Our group is spirited, compassionate, and eager to learn mindfulness practices in community with one another. We have a suggested $0-5 donation to cover the cost of the space, with excess donations put toward group materials like spare cushions.
