Taalcafé - Spanish and French night at DLC! 🇪🇸 🇫🇷 Language Exchange

At the Dutch Language Café, our core mission is to help people feel at home in The Hague, by providing opportunities to learn the local language, meet new people and do fun and interesting activities!
Do you like to:
* Meet new people and make new friends from all over the world
* Learn Dutch or help others speak Dutch
* Do interesting activities (cooking, games, movies, parties, trips, and much more)
* Learn and grow as a person by becoming active in a community?
Then the Dutch Language Cafe is something for you!

-This activity-
On two Thursday evenings per month, we take a break from Dutch at DLC! Come to our Language Exchange and practice a language you’re learning or share your native language with others! Every second Thursday of the month is Spanish and French night!

-What will we do?-
On the second Thursday of every month, we organize a Language Café for Spanish and French. Whether you are a native speaker or still learning the language, everyone is welcome! We have separate areas for Spanish and French, so you can fully immerse yourself in the language of your choice.
You can choose from various activities such as playing board games, ping pong, or table football. Conversation starters are also available on the tables, but you can of course just chat and get to know new people.

-Schedule-

• 19:30 – Come in, go to the table of your chosen language 🇪🇸🇫🇷
• 20:00 – Play board games or other games, or just continue chatting
• 21:30 – End of the activity, but feel free to stay longer!

-What to bring?-
You don’t need to bring anything! There are small snacks like chips and nuts available, and you can buy drinks at the bar. The most important thing is your enthusiasm and willingness to speak Spanish or French!

-Costs-
Participation in the Language Café is free for members of Dutch Language Café. For non members, we ask for a small fee per event.

-Language Level-
At Language Café events, we speak no Dutch, and all levels of French and Spanish are welcome! We try to speak these languages as much as possible, but don’t worry, we speak slowly and help each other. If in doubt, just drop by and see how it goes :)

-Do you speak another language?-
We alternate languages:

• Every second Thursday of the month is French and Spanish 🇫🇷🇪🇸
• Every fourth Thursday is English & all other languages! 🇬🇧🗺️

-Native Speakers-
Is French or Spanish your native language? Then you are of course very welcome! Now it’s your turn to help with the language ;) You meet new people, play fun games, and it’s just very cozy! Additionally, you’re doing a good deed by helping others with the language!
