Co-working at Dutch Language Café ☕️ Work hard, then play ping pong!

Every Friday afternoon, we welcome all our members and the DLC-curious to come work in our café. This includes working on your laptop, studying Dutch, or doing another quiet activity like reading. The options are endless!

-WHAT DO WE DO?-
Whether you need someone to body-double to meet a deadline or just want a change of scenery, co-working with us is bound to be gezellig. The idea is to really work and be productive, but also to collaborate or socialize during breaks. We have high speed internet and work-fuel like coffee and cakes available at the bar!

-SCHEDULE-

• 12:30 – Co-working starts. This event is not strictly timed, so feel free to pop in when your schedule allows.
• ~16:00 – Co-working ends, but socialising continues. Let off some steam with ping pong, games, or a friendly chat.

-DUTCH LEVEL-
During the events we speak Dutch as much as possible. We talk slowly, it is ok if you make mistakes, and we are happy to help you, but we try to speak mostly Dutch. The events are therefore good for people who already have a basic level and want to practice more. Are you a beginner or do you still find the idea of a group activity in Dutch intimidating? -WHAT TO BRING-
Please bring along whatever you are working on, or borrow a book from our library. You can also buy drinks or a cake/empanada from our bar. There are plenty of plug-points, but it doesn’t hurt to make sure your devices are charged before arriving :)

-COST-
Participating in the co-working session is free! You can, of course, buy drinks and snacks at the bar. For members, all of our events are free, and you can get discounts in the cafe! Read more about the membership options here.
