This group is for folks 65 and older and/or people who are available during the week.
We have many organizers that provide a variety of rides. These rides are generally on paved or gravel (some dirt) bike trails around metro-Denver/Front Range and suburbs. We do occasionally venture up to the mountains. Our goal is to have enjoyable rides with nice people.
DISCLAIMER: When signing up for Meetup.com, you agreed to the Meetup.com Terms of Service. Section 6.2 of the Terms of Service which specifically releases Meetup and the Organizers from any liability related to incidents that may occur at Meetup gatherings. Please understand that the Organizers of E Bike Riders 65 and Older are volunteers, whose sole role is to research and organize activities. We do not represent ourselves as trained guides or knowledgeable experts for any activity.
PLEASE NOTE: By signing up for an Ebike ride, you are responsible for your own gear (bike), health and safety precautions. The organizers will not be responsible for any bike problems, injuries, illness or such that you may incur on any event scheduled through meetup.com.
Every Ebike rider needs keep their ebikes maintained and in good working order, and understand their battery capacities, i.e. how far can you ride on a fully charged battery.
While safety is always a consideration of the Organizers in selecting activities, there are inherent risks with any outdoor activity, including inclement weather (for example: ice, a hail storm and a lightning strike) or a possible encounter with dogs or wildlife (bears, moose, mountain lions, snakes, or coyotes, etc.).
By participating in any E Bike Riders 65 and Older activities, you acknowledge and accept these risks and any other risk unforeseen, and agree not to hold the Organizers liable for any accident or injury that may happen to you. Please understand that everyone is responsible for their own safety.
NOTE: AAA Colorado Memberships should include picking you up with your bike and taking you back to your vehicle/home.
