SOLVANG TO SANTA YNEZ PEAK

This is one of the best bike rides I've done in the past. Late Spring is the best time to do this, but I want to get this in before the rains begin. 6 miles of the 26 miles will be on a dirt road as seen in the photo above. The remaining 20 miles will be on a paved road. The views at the top looking out to the Pacific Ocean will be stunning.

MEETUP LOCATION AND TIME:
9:00 am in Alisal Road Parking Lot in Solvang.

DISTANCE: 26 miles.

ELEVATION GAIN: 3600'

DEBRIEFING: After the bike ride, as an option, we can have a late lunch in Solvang.

THE PACE: No faster than the slowest biker in the group

DURATION: 5 hours including lunch

LEVEL: Ebiker looking for some dirt road to ride on

TERRAIN: Dedicated bike paths and street bike paths

RESTROOMS: At the beginning, end and during the bike ride.
