Walnut Canyon is an short steep singletrack trail, which takes from . It takes us to a fireroad (Mt Wilson Toll Road), which is boring but a good work out. We pass through Henninger Flats and a bit farther on take a singletrack trail down to Idlehour Camp, which is shaded and pretty. There is some poison oak at Idlehour Camp, so wear long pants. Be sure to bring enough water, a hat, good hiking shoes, and a snack.

The pace will be fast (\~22 min/mile), and there will be a brief break at Henninger and at Idlehour.

Everyone is welcome to hike at the pace that works for them, but if you are hiking slower than the group, no one will wait for you during or after the hike. There are many unmarked turns and trails, so get Alltrails, Gaia, or some other app that uses GPS (not cell reception) so you can always see where you are on the trail.

The Event Organizer is not a professional guide; she only organizes the event. Each person who comes is responsible for his or her own safety and the safety of his or her guests.
