Play or Learn Go in North Oakland!

Welcome to the East Bay Go Club! We meet on Sundays from 10:00 AM to at least 2:00 PM at the 3013 Broadway Starbucks.

This is a great venue for us, with plenty of seating in and out as well as lots of parking in the upstairs lot (entryway on 30th St). Starbucks serves some food, and there's a Chipotle right next door and Sprouts supermarket just a few steps past that. Please buy at least a small drink from Starbucks to help show our appreciation for use of the venue.

If you can bring a set, please do! But don't worry if you don't have one, we have plenty of others members who regularly bring theirs. Also we appreciate it if you can RSVP to all the events you attend (even if you happen to be a regular). This helps helps us figure out who is coming, and which players to pair.

If this is your first time playing and you need to learn the basics, there's a good tutorial at learn-go.net. It's generally most efficient to go over it before your first time playing in person.

Also, our members are happy to teach beginners, give game reviews, etc.
