Meet up @ Larkspur landing STARBUCKS !
TIME: 9: 30 -9:45 AM.
WHERE: 1801 Larkspur Landing Cir. in the Marin Country Mart in Larkspur.
Wear good hiking shoes. A jacket. I'll have everything else you may need.
ie; Water, hiking poles, Wine, great food & snacks & drinks. *** But bring your lunch. & we will carpool from Starbucks.*** Meetup donation is only $ 25. To save time, donate online Venmo or Zelle. Or $$ or check. (What's that ? )
*** First portion: Trekking gradually up forest mountain trail high above Salmon spawning creek. NOTE: The spawning season wont start until sometime in January & February. We will do that in that time frame. Viewing the spectacular fish colors at that time is special. **** OK. This beautiful trail will take us to the 5 tiered "STAIR STEP FALLS" !
***Returning past the Monster Redwood tree , we will have our fun Picnic lunch. Tables & bathrooms are available there.
***Next is the wild & beautiful valley creek trek. Great for photos ! Our return trek takes us across the base of high hillsides & for different vistas , on our way back.
