**Who: East Texas TOWN members**
We'll be floating with another area paddling club, but we're waiting to get definite info. on which one.

**What:** "Floatsgiving" 7-mile kayaking on the Sabine River! It's supposed to be an easy, calm float that is beginner friendly.

**When:** Saturday, Nov. 30, 2024

**What Time:** arrive between 11:30-12:00 noon
**Launch time** is 12:30-12:45

**What we will do with our vehicles:** After arriving at the launch site and unloading our kayaks and equipment, we'll drive our vehicles to the end site (which is about a 15-minute drive) and park them there. The hosts will shuttle us back to the launch site so we can begin our float.

**Length of Float** from beginning to end: about 3-3/12 hours

**Address of launch site**: 495 Big Road, Longview (near 2087 bridge over the Sabine River, just north of I-20). This is private property, but we do have permission from the owner to launch there.

**Address of end site:** Crawfish Cove Restaurant (4934 Estes Parkway Ramp in Lakeport, off of Hwy 149)
