Start Sunday off right with a walk at the Gilbert Riparian Preserve. NEW START AT 7:30am for the WINTER Please come 5 minutes early. Meet at the Rattlesnake Ramada covered picnic tables in front of the observatory. If you park at the library parking off Guadalupe, walk east into the park past the pond. You'll see the observatory dome on your right. The tables are on the left. We typically go to breakfast after as well. If you want to join us for the second loop you can meet us at the pergola located at the corner of the parking lot in from of the pond/lake around 7:30am.

The Riparian Preserve is a gorgeous place for walking with good bits of shade, water areas and lots of water birds. Plus, DOG FRIENDLY. This isn't a fitness walk, just a good walk around the area to get the body moving and the blood flowing. 😊 Plan on approximately 1.75-3.5 miles, relatively flat trail walking.
