What we’re about
Welcome! This is a ladies-only social group for the 30s and 40s crowd who are looking to make new friends from the greater East Wake (Knightdale / Wendell / Zebulon) area.
We will have dinners, brunch, book club, wine nights, movies, theater, hikes, weekend trips, etc… Suggestions for events you'd like to see are welcome! If you think it would be fun, chances are someone else will too!
Speaking of fun, you can't have fun if you don't show up. To keep things running smoothly this group has an attendance policy. Unless otherwise stated in the event description, there is a 24 hour RSVP policy (event organizers can make this more or less strict depending on the needs of the activity).
What does this mean exactly? Please avoid:
- Being a no show. If you RSVP yes, we expect to see you there. We'd miss you if you skipped it, and someone on the waitlist would miss out on a spot.
- Changing your RSVP from Yes to No within 24 hours of the event. We get that stuff happens but please make every effort to give 24 hours notice if you can't make it. It's discouraging for the event host to make a reservation for 10 and only half show up. Not to mention, if the restaurant is busy they may refuse to honor it without the entire party present.
- Hanging out on the waitlist if you know you won't be able to attend. Please feel free to stay on the waitlist until the bitter end, but please change from Waitlist to No at the point where you know you won't attend.
If you RSVP and don't show up the event host will mark you as a No Show. Three No Shows is cause for removal from the group.
