Wilsons Promontory National Park, often more simply known as Wilsons Prom or ‘The Prom’, is a spectacular peninsula full of dreamy beaches, wonderful wildlife, picturesque coastal walks and even some of the best hiking trails found in Victoria, Australia.
In its entirety, Wilsons Prom covers an area of around 50,000 hectares (500 square kilometers). So, there’s plenty to explore whether that be taking to as many of the excellent Wilsons Prom hiking trails as possible and spotting the local wildlife out in force as you go, or simply just relaxing on some of Australia’s finest beaches. Certainly, the hardest part of your visit will be summoning the effort to leave.

You will need to book your own accommodation/camping site for this trip. The organizers will be on 6th Ave, campsite 215

You may join us for 1, 2 or all 3 days.

Itinerary to be finalized, however presently as follows:

Day 1: Friday - Mt Oberon: 6.4km 340m elevation gain.
3:00pm Visitor Centre (Shuttle to Telegraph Saddle)

Day 2: Saturday - Oberon Bay circuit via Telegraph Saddle: 22km 400m elevation gain (Challenging)
9:30am Visitor Centre

Day 3: Sunday -Three Bay walk (Tidal River, return to Whiskey Bay), 12km 230m elevation Gain (Easy)

Other hiking options being consider include: Tidal River to Mt Oberon, Tongue Point, Telegraph Saddle to Waterloo Bay return.

Fitness Level:
You need to be in excellent physical condition and have some experience hiking in the bush.

What to bring:
· All camping equipment and food (you must be self-sufficient)
· 2L of Water
· Snack and lunch.
· Wear proper hiking shoes and protective clothing.
· Rain jacket if rain is forecasted.
