What we’re about
I wanted everyone to know, I (Allan Z.) recently assumed the organizer role for the Eastside Walkers walking group (from Monique), and want to recognize Monique for her strong commitment, and years of work maintaining our group to keep it healthy. Monique will continue as an event organizer.
We will continue with all the current event organizers, which I want to graciously thank, and I hope we can continue with many walks during this beautiful summer weather. Unfortunately, I sprained my left knee several weeks ago, and I am currently unable to lead or join any walks for the near future.
I wanted to remind everyone, to review route details, in the walk announcement, to best determine if the route is a good fit. When possible, parking information should also be included. We make every attempt to start all our walks on time, and ask that members arrive early enough to join the group before it departs. It never feels good to leave anyone behind.
