“Bitcoin Genesis Day” refers to January 3, 2009, the day when the genesis block (also known as Block 0) of the Bitcoin blockchain was mined by the cryptocurrency’s pseudonymous creator, Satoshi Nakamoto. This event marked the beginning of the Bitcoin network and the first practical implementation of blockchain technology.
