Joanna Abendroth, DipWSET

Her passion for wine began with the modest vines of her Polish hometown. Although the homemade fermentations were simple, they ignited a lifelong passion for wine. Since moving to Switzerland in 2016, she has fully immersed herself in the local wine culture, from grape harvests to advanced WSET courses. Now holding a WSET Level 4 Diploma from the Austrian Wine Academy, Joanna is a key figure in the Swiss wine industry, managing the Zurich store and events at Terravigna and teaching at the Zurich Wine Academy.

As a wine educator, Joanna is committed to making wine accessible to everyone, championing inclusivity over snobbery. She skillfully balances the joy of discovering new varieties with her deep appreciation for beloved classics.
