Cycle to Ormiston

A ride to Ormiston village, approx 20 miles. Some hills.

Start at Fisherrow for 10:30, Out via coast to Prestonpans, Battle monument, path to Tranent and then to Ormiston. Lunch at Maggies Tea Room, with Hoods Honey as an overspill if numbers are large. We'll view the Ormiston Yew while we are there (that part is a recce).

Homeward via the road from Tranent direct to Musselburgh.

Wind or rain might cause me to change the route and the mileage.

Style of ride: 12 mph approx on windless flat, cheerful friendly ambience. Paths will be taken if deemed nice.

Optional 1 pound.

Please bring spare tubes, and whatever tools you need to remove the wheel and tyre and fit a tube and inflate.
