Hub Board Gamers - Saturday @ Drumbrae Library Hub
Details
THE GAMES: A real mix: solo, co-op, light, Eurogames, heavier strategy. Check out the photo above to see the games available from the library's collection, but there are always players who bring their own.
THE GAMERS: Players looking to try new games, gamers looking to find players for their games, or groups wanting a space to play in.
THE SPACE: We have large, well-lit tables with plenty of space and seating. Perfect for gaming!
There is a kitchen area to refill water bottles and dispose of rubbish; if you use any dishes, please wash, dry and put them away. There is free tea, coffee and biscuits in the library until 3pm. You are welcome to bring lunch from home or there is a Scotmid next door.
If you have a group and/or a game already, bring them along, or post a comment here to organise in advance. Our regulars are welcoming, friendly and happy to include anyone; if the host, Andrew, is there he'll happily help you find a game too.
If you intend to arrive after 10:30-11:00, please comment so a space can be saved for you. The very start of the day is usually smaller and shorter games to give people time to arrive before starting larger ones.
The toilets in the Day Support Centre have some plumbing issues so please use the normal public toilets in the library area - ask at the desk if you need directions.
The library is open until 5pm but we ask that you are tidied up and ready to leave for 4:30pm so they can clear the area and lock up on time.
If extra tables and chairs are needed, please take them from the side room. At the end of the day, please put all tables back in that room except for one near the door and two at the windows.
Every week on Saturday
