The Edinburgh Poetry Book Club meets on the first Tuesday of each month in the bar at Summerhall at the east end of the Meadows.
Bring along a poem you have enjoyed. Listen to the poems that others have enjoyed.
This is a group aimed at poetry appreciation rather than poetry writing.
We read ancient and modern poems - poems in English or in translation.
Rhyming poems, free verse, sonnets, villanelles - all are welcomed.
We are here to promote lively discussion and the pleasure of poetry.
