What we’re about

The Edmonds Fine Art Photography Group is about creating fun, exciting, and excellent photography for all classes of photographers from beginner to professional. An excellent and fully outfitted studio along with a knowledgeable host(s) await to assist you in your en devours.

Several times a month we hire professional local and out-of-state nude, glamour, and fitness models. This gives you the opportunity to shoot, one on one, with many different models that you would ordinarily have to pay for at least 2 hours. It's also a lot safer for the models...and photographers. For those just starting out, a professional model makes a world of difference in producing quality photographs. Just shooting with them teaches you how to pose future clients. Just talking to some of the other photographers helps out too. You'll have access to high quality lighting equipment. And there will someone to show you how to use it for free. All you need is a camera equipped with a regular hot shoe. If you don't have a camera one can be rented to you for a nominal fee. Bring an SD memory card.

Due to Covid concerns some safety measures will be required.

Please bring a mask. You don't necessarily have to wear it but have one just in case. This is a large studio and social distancing is easy to maintain. During the shoot only the model and the photographer will be present in the studio proper. The management team will be in an adjacent room unless needed. Arrive about 10 minutes before your shoot and come in and we will get you set up. Be ready to depart when your time is up as the next photographer will be waiting. Hand sanitizer and wipes will be available. Thank you for your cooperation.

One more thing about the studio:

If you have a special project that requires custom accommodations for your needs, you should book the studio and the model at a later date. That way you are not rushed. The equipment is very expensive and accidents happen when you're rushed. The equipment should always be treated with respect. Please never hurry at the expense of our gear.

Location:

Dayton St Studio located at 529 Dayton Street. Anchor Chic rents out the front of the building so you'll see that first. Enter the studio through the double white doors in the alley just east of the building.

If you get lost just give me call at 206-396-4239

Parking:

There is free parking in the alley adjacent to the studio and for a small fee in the Masonic Lodge parking lot just west of our building. The city of Edmonds vigorously enforces parking on the streets. Most spots are 3 hours.

Cost:

As always to be determined by the event organizer and how much the models want for shooting

Please arrive on time for your shoot. Tipping the model is customary. Usually $10 for every half hour you shoot with her. Be generous please!

Model Releases:

There will be a full model release that you will receive at the shoot with the models id.

Cancellations:

1. A cancellation can be made 24 hours before the day of the shoot with no fee.

2.If you cancel within 24 hours of the shoot day you need to pay for the time you had scheduled since the spot likely will not get filled. If we do fill the time, no payment will be necessary. This approach depends on being lucky!

3. A no show is even worse than a last minute cancellation.

4. If you do this, it is expected that you will pay for the shoot. The Group has to pay the model if you show up or not so please work with us on this.

5. You cannot attend another shoot unless you pay for the missed shoot and prepay for your next shoot. Payments for missed shoots can be made to Venmo: Dayton Street Studio@daytonstudio
